Swansway Motor Group sponsors local charities. Recently, Swansway Motor Group has been proud to support many local charities after being given grants from Cheshire Community Fund and their 'ForCheshireWest Fund'. They have split the funds across many single charities across Cheshire to make the most meaningful difference. David Smith (the director of Swansway Motor Group) has talked about how he believes that supporting local charities is important and it is at the heart of his family-owned business. In his words he said, 'Supporting charities close to home means we're helping causes that really matter to our colleagues and customers.' By donating locally, they can see the difference they are making every day.
Some of the charities they have helped are: Healthbox, a charity that offers community wellbeing programmes, mental health support and healthy lifetime initiatives.
The director of Healthbox – Simon Stamford – has shown much appreciation, as the funds help many people who are suffering.
Koala North West provides emotional and practical support for households with children. They also help children with special learning needs and disabilities.
Bev Morgan, who is the CEO, is grateful for their help because now they can help more children in Cheshire.
Platforms For Life helps children by offering free mental health counselling lessons and counselling for families who may otherwise struggle to access help. Debbie Thomas, the operations director, has shown thanks because of how this can help children develop skills and their mental health.
Youth Federation helps young people with youth clubs, mentoring, online safety classes and personal development programmes. Kevin Bradburne, who is the director of operations, is grateful to be able to reach out and help more people across Cheshire.
As a result, many people have benefited from these brilliant charities and the services they offer.
People are seeing the change daily, all thanks to Swansway Motor Group and their partners.
