Faith, a young lesbian from Ellesmere Port and Issy, a young lesbian from Ellesmere Port.
We asked the two: How does Pride Month affect you positively?
Faith's Answer:
Pride month is cool to me because it is a way to teach others that everybody is interested in something different. I just think it’s a positive thing to educate others and make people like me feel seen.
Issy's Answer:
It makes me feel accepted to have a month dedicated to people's rights to love freely and just being able to freely be who they want to be, and being a part of the community makes me feel like I belong somewhere, and the month in general makes me so happy that it's truly time for me and others like me.
