As technology is advancing, we are creating robots to do things for us. There are concerns that robots could replace us, but overall, at the moment, they are working for us very well. Multiple robots have different jobs, so let’s have a look at some.
We have made robots to do simple tasks, like in factories where they can screw lids onto bottles. These robots are very useful as they can save lots of time, but the downside is that people who had these jobs before are getting replaced.
Next are robots used in restaurants and warehouses to move things around. In a restaurant, this could be taking orders and delivering food, and in warehouses, they could move packages around. Like the last example, though, it does take away jobs.
Lastly, there are robots used for cleaning, but this doesn’t just mean a vacuum. Robots to clean oceans and littered areas have been created, which helps the environment and saves us lots of time. Aside from taking a chunk of money to build, they are also pretty consequence-free.
Robots are truly fascinating, and maybe in the upcoming years they will play an even bigger role in society. If you want to make your own robot, there are jobs in STEM, which includes engineering and other subjects combined.
