Vauxhall Motors VXRs U15s New Kit For Fundraising Campaign for Darby Rimmer MND Foundation

The Vauxhall Motors VXRs Under-15s had an early start today, with their new kits, all of which proudly featured the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation logo. Their 8:30 a.m. game was more than just a game; it marked the start of a fundraising campaign that united the team and supporters in their shared battle against motor neurone disease (MND).

MND, Motor Neuron Disease, is a progressive, life-shortening condition which damages the motor neurons in the brain. Ex-footballer Stephen Darby and Chris Rimmer, a British Forces Veteran, started the Darby Rimmer Foundation after Chris was diagnosed with the condition in 2015, but unfortunately passed away earlier this year.

This cause is particularly personal to the VXRs. The entire team has been incredibly supportive of one of the players' dads, who has MND, and his family. The foundation is committed to supporting important research and assisting families impacted by MND.

The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation will receive all donations and proceeds from forthcoming events as the VXRs U15S continue their fundraising efforts throughout the season.

Donations can be made via the football team’s JustGiving Page by anyone who wants to support the team's fundraising campaign. Every small act of solidarity matters in the fight against MND, as the VXRs U15S showed today.
