SOCIAL MEDIA USED TO BE A PATH I DREADED WALKING
I used to be skeptical of how i would be perceived on camera, especially being a teenage girl who was VERY anxious of being judged and mocked (tbh i am judged very often but alas). like setting up my phone and talking in my room by myself KNOWING people that i see every day, people that i go to school with WILL see it and JUDGE.
and obviously some people did .
BUTT🍑 when you and i look at creators that we admire they started the EXACT same way, filming teensy weensy parts of their day with NO guarantee that it would go anywhere.
Currently i’m not in a high rise apartment in NYC going to Erehwon every day to get a smoothie sadly but i’m getting there.
Its just little routines, skincare, content creation and trying to figure things out
But i think thats the point.
theres no point in waiting till everything is perfect and pretty and i’m in a highrise in NYC before i do what i love because after all, thats not how i even started on social media (believe me my content has gotten ALOT better in the last 7 years).
My goal is to document the in-between the not so polished yk
