Almost everyone travels every day, often without even thinking about it. We use things like bikes, cars, and ourselves to get around. This leads to an interesting question: what is the quickest way to travel?
Some racing cars and bullet trains can travel at very high speeds, reaching hundreds of miles per hour, but this isn’t even close to the fastest. To a normal person, this would seem extremely fast and maybe faster than they have ever gone before, but I have only ranked this third.
Next are military aircraft such as jets, which can reach speeds of over 900 miles per hour. These vehicles have to be flown by professionals because of the high speeds and the risk of accidents. The reason they travel so fast is because of the powerful jet engines that push them through the air. This earns them the number two spot.
Finally, the fastest way to travel may seem impossible or unrealistic. Ranked in first place are rockets. Rockets have reached speeds of around 17,000 miles per hour, which is far faster than most people will ever experience. There is a huge amount of planning and preparation involved in launching a rocket, but at these speeds, who knows where we will be able to go in the future?
There are also many other interesting and unusual methods of transportation that are definitely worth exploring.
