Laura Ziomek

Hello, I’m Laura Ziomek and I’m a writer for Ellesmere Port News - I believe that there should be more positivity in our lives and I’d like to help bring that about using my passion for writing.

I’m a member of various writing and reading clubs in my school and I’m very happy to be a part of such an amazing and ambitious team of other young people dedicated to spreading joy in the community.

Statement from Jake Cliff, CEO:

Laura's passion for writing is truly inspiring, and her skills are so remarkable. She consistently demonstrates how positivity is so important to us. Her writing experience is so impressive, and the amount of stuff she has done at her age shows her eye for creativity. When reading through Laura's hiring application, it was clear that she really wanted a job, which would give her a 'great experience'. She is apart of her school's newspaper club, was an active member in creative writing club for three years and often writes in her free time. Her qualities made me quickly consider her, as she wanted to make an impact by writing articles that would spread positivity in the community - our aim.
