Request event coverage

Are you organising an event in Ellesmere Port and would like the Ellesmere Port News team to cover it? Our team are able to take professional pictures, create a video edit of your day and write an article to promote more of your events. Use the form below to submit your request.

Important safeguarding information

At events, we require a minimum of two reporters/assistants to attend for safeguarding reasons. We are committed to keeping our team safe and any safeguarding enquiries can be directed to our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Danni Adams.

We will NOT attend your event if this is not filled out properly and by an appropriate person (e.g. event organiser). You must agree to our guidelines, which are found below this form.

Please note:

While we strive to cover as many local events as possible, we cannot always guarantee our attendance. This could be due to various factors including scheduling conflicts with other events, travel costs, team availability, or illness. We will review your request and get back to you as soon as possible regarding our ability to attend. Thank you for your understanding.

If your event is not within walking distance from Ellesmere Port town centre, please consider chipping in so that we can use public transport to attend. Change will not be given, refunds will not be given and we are happy to provide you with a reciept. If you donate, it will not change the way we cover your event - we treat all organisations equally & with respect.

If you are not satisfied with what we have produced, or you have a problem, please let us know or submit a complaint - this will not go through our team, it will go through our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
